Dance
Beginning Contemporary Dance is designed for the absolute beginner, so all are welcome. It is a traditional, technique-based class focusing on classical principles of dance movement, posture, coordination and musicality. We will begin on the floor with some simple warm up exercises, then move to standing exercises incorporating the whole body, move across the floor and then finish with a short, fun phrase that we will repeat several weeks in a row.
The class is not a series, so come whenever you feel the desire to move your body to some music!

Open Level Contemporary Dance
This is an open level contemporary dance class designed to get you
moving and breathing. We will challenge our stamina and build strength in moving down
and up from the floor. We will work on the articulation and efficiency of the feet, pelvis,
and spine as a way to find stability and freedom in our everyday lives. We will sweat,
relieve our stress, and have lots of fun! No dance experience necessary.
